Featurebase vs Usero: Honest Comparison (2026)

Will Smith··8 min read

Featurebase organizes feedback into a tidy, prioritized board and, at best, a synced GitHub issue. Usero takes that same feedback one step further and opens a draft GitHub pull request you review and merge. Both are good at collecting; only one writes code.

Featurebase vs Usero, feature by feature

Price

Featurebase is 29 dollars per seat a month (Growth, billed yearly), plus 0.29 dollars per AI resolution. Usero is free to start, paid from 19 dollars a month. Featurebase prices per seat with AI metered separately, so a five-person team lands well above the headline figure as it adds seats and AI volume. Usero’s entry plan is flat. Neither charges per tracked user. Confirm both on the vendor sites, checked 2026-06-03.

Where Featurebase wins

  • Breadth in one tool. Featurebase bundles a support inbox, the Fibi AI support agent, a help center, surveys, roadmap, and changelog under one login. Usero is a focused feedback-to-PR tool with none of the support-desk surface. If you want one vendor for support and feedback and announcements, Featurebase covers far more (Featurebase homepage).
  • A bigger integration roster. Featurebase lists Slack, Discord, Linear, Jira, GitHub, Zendesk, Intercom, HubSpot, Segment, ClickUp, and Zapier. Usero’s roster is shorter and newer, so if a specific integration is load-bearing for you, check it exists before switching (Featurebase homepage).
  • A mature, years-in board. Reviewers consistently praise Featurebase’s clean, customizable boards, the changelog widget, and built-in RICE and ICE prioritization, including weighting feedback by customer value for B2B. It is a polished product with strong G2 and Product Hunt ratings (checked 2026-06-03). This is real polish, not a capability Usero structurally lacks.

Where Usero wins

  • It opens a draft PR from the feedback. This is the whole difference. Featurebase’s GitHub integration creates an issue and syncs its status; Usero goes one step past that and writes a first-pass implementation against your repo, opened as a draft pull request. Disclosure: I build Usero. You read the diff and hit merge, nothing ships without you. A synced ticket still needs an engineer to write the code; a draft PR is most of that work already done.
  • Flat pricing and an open-source widget. Usero’s entry plan is flat rather than per seat, so the bill does not climb with headcount or AI volume. The widget is open source on npm and drops into a React app in three lines, and you can self-host it. Featurebase prices per seat plus 0.29 dollars per AI resolution (pricing, checked 2026-06-03).

The verdict

Pick Featurebase if: you want a broad support, feedback, roadmap, and changelog suite in one tool, with an AI support agent and help center, and you have the engineering capacity to act on the issues it organizes for you. The reviews are good and the breadth is real.

Pick Usero if: your constraint is shipping, not organizing. You write the code yourself and want feedback to come back as a reviewable draft PR, not another well-tagged ticket in the backlog. You can live without a support inbox and a longer integration list.

One more thing the matrix above does not capture. Alongside the draft PR, Usero also bundles session replay, mic-recorded user testing, and AI user-research analysis, which Featurebase does not. The PR is still the headline; treat the rest as useful substrate.

We use Featurebase for this and it’s been really helpful. It combines feedback collection, prioritization based on customer value, and even lets you [...]

Second Featurebase! Canny’s pricing is unreasonable. Also, they basically discontinued the free plan.
